15-Day Return Policy
Eligibility & General Conditions
Equiptment AU (EAU) provides a 15-day return policy for eligible vehicles and machinery, subject to the following conditions:
- Reimbursement: Customers receive 100% of the purchase price, excluding non-refundable fees (e.g., buy fees, payment processing fees, taxes, reconditioning costs).
- Price Cap: Refunds are limited to 104% of the Hour Meter Wholesale National Average Price at the time of purchase.
- Eligible Buyers: Applies only to dealers and individuals in Australia purchasing vehicles or machinery located within Australia.
Eligible Vehicles & Machinery
To qualify for a return, the item must meet these criteria:
- Condition: Must be free of structural damage.
- Minimum Sales Price: $1,000 or higher.
- Weight Requirement: Machinery must have a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of at least 1,000 kg.
- Eligible Inventory: Includes but is not limited to:
- Agricultural and construction equipment
- Commercial vehicles
- Off-road vehicles, ATVs, and forklifts
- Heavy- and medium-duty trucks
- Trailers
- Condition of Sale: Items sold “As Is” qualify for returns.
Return Terms & Conditions
Return Period & Usage Limits
The 15-day return period begins upon receipt of the item. The item is ineligible for return if it exceeds:
- 20 hours of use
- 200 kilometers of travel
Return Process
Contact our sales team within 15 days of receiving the item. Our team will guide you through the return process and ensure compliance with return conditions.
Shipping & Inspection
Return Shipping: EAU arranges and covers return shipping only through approved carriers.
Inspection: Items must be returned in their original condition with no modifications or damage.
Restocking Fees: If damage or alterations are found upon inspection, a restocking fee may apply.
Refund Process
If the item meets all return criteria and passes inspection, a refund will be issued to the original payment method, minus any applicable restocking fees.
Exclusions
This policy does not apply to new equipment.
Governing Law
This policy is governed by Australian Commonwealth Contract Law.
